MISSIONS
Thank you to everyone who has donated to the Prayer Shawl Ministry recently—this fund is used monthly, so continued donations are appreciated. If you choose to donate online, the ‘prayer shawl fund’ is listed as a choice. Many people have received these over the past three years, and we know each of those recipients has been blessed to receive theirs. You can of course also write a check and put “Prayer Shawl” in the memo line. Thank you.
Sea Farer Boxes: We are still collecting items for the sea farer boxes—The deadline for this is October 31! If you would rather donate money so items can be bought, that would be appreciated. Just put “Sea Farer Boxes” in the memo line of your check. You can also donate to this via the “missions” option when you go to make an online donation. Once the Missions option is clicked, then click on “Memo” and choose “Sea Farer Boxes.” Click HERE to see the list of items needed.
Military: As we continue to pray for our military, we try to keep up with what their correct address is. If you have provided a name and have an updated address, please give it to us. This year we will send Thanksgiving Cards and Christmas Cards, and ask that if you are interested in sending a package to one or more of the service members, feel free to do so. The updated list is always on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall.
